It is anticipated that the longer-term impact of the project in the participating countries will include:
- an increase in the amount of workplace basic skills training impact evaluation carried out
- an increase in the amount of evidence of the business benefits of workplace basic skills training
- an increase in demand for and delivery of workplace basic skills training as evidence of benefits is disseminated to employers
- improvements in the quality of workplace basic skills training as providers become better able to identify the impact of training and subsequently develop and refine suitable programme content and delivery methods.
